Lena M Falk started her career in fashion as a buyer for H&M. After 11 years of travelling the world and gaining a wide knowledge of the trade, she decided to set up on her own. pink india was formed in 2004. The ideas for pink india came about when she felt that there was a gap in the market for fun and funky products for the home. Lena created a collection for the consumer who wants something a little different, away from the straight lines and neutral colours. The home collection includes hand quilted throws and a large variety of cushion covers and home accessories. The garment range is designed for the same reason; it caters to the "hippie chic" woman. A woman who is conscious about fashion, exclusivity and quality. The dresses are made from fine cottons or silk, printed or hand embroidered and are perfect for the beach, spa or the city. Some styles are simply crinkled in a little matching pouch; easy to to pack, no need to iron… Girls dresses are available in matching prints and styles from ages 5-12 years. The pink india collection also includesa wide range of travel accessories; wash bags, make-up bags, shoe bags, laundry bags and shopping/beach bags. All co-ordinated to match the range. All the pink india prints are exclusively developed for the collection each season and can be co-ordinated through out. pink india caters to a market that appreciate quality. Primarily working with boutiques, pink india can offer high fashion with quick deliveries close to the season. Today, pink India is retailing in India, Singapore, Sweden, The Netherlands, France, Spain and in the UK. |
